International Women\u2019s Day is not just a day to celebrate women\u2014it is a call to action. At Verraki<\/strong>, we marked this occasion with an inspiring session, reigniting the Verraki Women Network<\/strong> and reflecting on this year\u2019s theme: #AccelerateAction for gender equality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was a powerful moment for us to move beyond conversations and into tangible actions<\/strong> that create lasting impact. We discussed the barriers women face in the workplace, the progress we have made, and the work that still lies ahead. It was a room filled with stories, wisdom, and encouragement<\/strong>, as we all committed to playing our part in accelerating change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing My Journey: From Developer to Project Manager<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights for me was sharing my own experience\u2014from starting out as a software developer to taking on the role of a project manager in process automation<\/strong>. Stepping up into new responsibilities wasn\u2019t easy, but I learned that growth happens when we embrace challenges<\/strong>. I shared my journey to inspire other women in the room to lean into their ambitions, break barriers, and confidently own their space in tech and leadership<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building Confidence and Overcoming Fears<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During the session, one of Verraki\u2019s partners, TA,<\/strong> shared insights on overcoming fear and gaining confidence. I had the privilege of contributing to this discussion, reinforcing the importance of believing in ourselves and taking bold steps forward<\/strong>. Another partner, Abayomi<\/strong>, also led insightful conversations that sparked deeper reflections among attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This session was more than a celebration\u2014it was a moment of commitment<\/strong>. Each of us left feeling empowered to advocate for equal opportunities, mentor the next generation, and support one another<\/strong> in our unique journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Next?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
